We also understand that some of the content on the web is objectionable at the

Provide content that is relevant and safe
Our aim is to provide relevant and good quality information to our users about the Islamic Religion in general. At the same time we try to regulate our content so that
objectionable material is not picked up by our search engine. For the most
part we like to think we are successfull in this task. Nevertheless, the vastness of the
web means that we are unable to guarantee this to be the case at all times.
Provide quality sites
We aim to list sites about Islam. Some sites may be about Islam but not hosted by Muslims, other sites may be Sunni, Shia or other. (A refined function will be added later)
With regards to Islam in paticular, today we are witnessing a phenomenon where many people are determined to propogate Islam, with the best of intentions.
Nevertheless, occasions occur where statements are made relating to Islam that are misquoted or presented out of context. We urge all users to seek clarification from a qualified imam
on all religious points and matters and not rely on information that they have read on the internet. We beleive that the world wide web should be used for reference only. A Shaykh once said that one can gain religous knowledge 'only' from a
Mujtahid or a person/medium quoting from a Mujtahid, unfortunatley a large part of the islamic Material on the internet 'does not' fall in this category and thus Islamic rulings/opinions etc; on the internet should be treated with caution/ignored.

external sites. Although musulman.co.uk endeavours to eliminate harmful content from appearing in its search results we do not guarantee this to
